Hollick p. 137 He matriculated from Balliol College at Oxford University on 15 jun 1632; came to New England 1639; he followed Rev. Gibson as minister of the Episcopal Church at Casco Bay, ME 1640-1648; married Sarah Winter, daughter of Gov. John Winter, of Lygonia in Maine, and by this marriage became sole proprietor of Robert Trelawny’s large estate in New England; continued to preach occasionally at Spurwink, ME (Casco Bay) 1645-1675; in 1675 he fled from the Indian menace to Portsmouth, NH; willed lands at Scarborough and Cape Eliszabeth to his sons; Episcopal; died Newcastle, NH.
